About Me: Living in diaspora as an Iraqi Patriot has made me appreciate the subtle beauties within all mankind. My entire life I have been trapped in the jailhouse reality that the nation of my birth is both the source of my pain and purpose. At times I have felt like no one other human being could possibly understand my unique existence. However, as I have grown wiser I have come to understand that all mankind shares unique inalienable characteristics that bind together all of us without regard to creed or color. I seek to comprehend the nature of my own existence -- to come to terms with today’s realities and yet remain strong enough to dream for a better tomorrow. I thank my family and friends for making me the man I am. Most importantly I must acknowledge my incredible mother her time, patience, and love continues to touch every facet of my being. I live my life according to a certain moral code influenced by my love of Islam and the wealth of life experiences Allah has afforded me. The product of a dying breed, I am a true gentleman who believes that chivalry is what distinguishes a man from a boy. "They say the truth shall come in the light, so everybody grab your shades because your boy is that bright.
Looking For: I believe that the ultimate reward of life is the relationships we develop with one another. Significantly it is the love between a man and woman which makes life truly beautiful and fulfilling. There was a time when I believed love to be a learned behavior something that only developed over time with patience and care --- like a young sapling which grows into a mighty oak tree. However, I have come to realize that Shakespeare’s Sonnets speak a blissful truth too often ignored. Have we become so jaded that we no longer have the faith to believe in true everlasting love? A love which begins with destiny and satisfies the passion and desire of two soulmates uniting as one heart. I understand that this may seem overly romantic and a bit dramatic, but this is how I have come to understand the nature of love. Look through time and it is the stories of such love which dominate and define a culture; from Homer's Iliad to Romeo and Juliette human life has always acknowledged that such an immutable bond is possible between two worthy souls. It is in my opinion a matter of fate and karma who among us are blessed enough to experience the depth of such emotions. InshAllah we will all be fortunate enough to have a quarter of what I envision love to be. If anything here has made you curious please feel to write me, and if this made no sense then you need to open your heart to someone before you end up looking back on life with regret.
